The top three American Quarter Horses were recognized in each of the six categories for outstanding Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association performances in 2015.

Amongst the top horses named were Steer Wrestling horse Lenas Little Dasher (Charlie) owned by Hunter & Bristi Cure. This 1999 brown gelding by Man In The Money-Sweet N Sassy Te by Uni Track was number two in the event.

Topping the list in the Tie-Down Roping was Sweet As Time (Flea) owned by Fred Wernecks and ridden by Marcos Costa. Sired by Popular ResortFigure X Startime Bertie – Dryin Time  is also the AQHA Sr. Open Tie-Down Champion. Chosen as the number three horse in the Tie-Down Roping was Monty Lewis’s good horse Squirrel.  Popular Lil Lena, the 2005 sorrel gelding is by Mr Freckles Olena-Miss Pebble Lady by San Peppys Pebble.

Grady & Lisa Lockhart are the owners of An Okie With Cash (Louie).  The 2003 Buckskin gelding ranked number 2 in the Barrel Racing and is by Biebers Oakie-Lady Kaweah Cash by Judge Cash.

   South Dakota cowgirl Lisa Lockhart and her buckskin gelding Louie turned in a time of 17.90 to best the field of four on Showdown Sunday at the Calgary Stampede. The duo dominated preliminary competition, winning three of four go rounds advancing her to the finals.  Callie duPerier ended up in second place, with Fallon Taylor and Tara Muldoon rounding out the finals.  Lockhart, who also claimed the big check at the American this spring was awarded a bronze and $116,500 for her efforts.

Bulldogger Trevor Knowles is no stranger to award stage in Calgary, as he claimed his fourth win since 2009.  The 34 year old cowboy from Oregon stayed focused and fought through muddy conditions to win the $100,000 check for his efforts. Stopping the clock at 3.9 secured the win for Knowles who was followed by Kyle Irvin with a 4.3. Clayton Hass finished in third with Tanner Milan in the fourth position.

     Jettastic rose to the top of the field at the 2014 QHRAI Derby at Indiana Grand.  The 2011 AQHA Stallion is owned by Rebecca Barton and earned $121,680 for his efforts. Ridden by Jose Beltran and trained by Anthony Cunningham, Jettastic clocked 19.834 over the 400 yard race. Congratulations to RAISE THE BAR PERFORMANCE HORSES!
